Chiropractic Care
Banning Family Chiropractic uses chiropractic adjustment techniques taught by the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI). Techniques taught by MPI are biomechanically superior and evidence based. Motion palpation is used in the spine and extremities as a diagnostic tool for joint dysfunction. Joints can become restricted because of injury, poor posture, or faulty movement patterns. The “popping” heard during a chiropractic manipulation is the result of the release of gas and a quick change in pressure gradient around the joint when the joint is gapped. Chiropractic manipulation may be the primary treatment option or a supplement to other treatment options.
